Yngve Gallin came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Idrottsklubben -03's Stefan Andersson. But to his dismay, Stefan Andersson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Yngve Gallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Andersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Alf Drake kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Henrik Lindholm scored 0-3 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yngve Gallin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stefan Andersson struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Yngve Gallin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Idrottsklubben -03. The supporters of Idrottsklubben -03 booed when Frinnaryd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Kellberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pär Odén in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yngve Gallin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rune Bergstedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Idrottsklubben -03's goal looked a bit too open when Rune Bergstedt came free, but Kristian Törnqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frinnaryd's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by August Dalgren in the 32nd minute. Yngve Gallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Andersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute Idrottsklubben -03 were awarded a corner. William Enström went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that William Enström got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Yngve Gallin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Yngve Gallin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stefan Andersson went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The supporters of Idrottsklubben -03 booed when Frinnaryd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Pilberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stefan Andersson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Idrottsklubben -03 fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Idrottsklubben -03's Pär Odén looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Frinnaryd booed when Idrottsklubben -03 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Lindholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Frinnaryd's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Andersson came free, but Yngve Gallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frinnaryd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-12. Frinnaryd's Yngve Gallin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Andersson in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th match minute, Idrottsklubben -03 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Enström to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Stefan Andersson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yngve Gallin. That made the score 0-13 in the 90 minute of play. When the match was over Idrottsklubben -03 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Frinnaryd throughout the match.
