An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Hultman in the 7th minute of play forced Mariannelund's goalkeeper Elliott Berggren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Mariannelund's goalkeeper Elliott Berggren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lars Tidén. A hard shot by Sven-Ove Eliasson from long distance, 12 minutes into the match, got Elliott Berggren's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 15th match minute, Mariannelund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Hedbom to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes Mariannelund got a freekick which was hit by Villiam Hylander. Alfons Ahlerot might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jörgen Sjöman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfons Ahlerot ran back to his position shaking his head. Jörgen Sjöman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfons Ahlerot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfons Ahlerot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jörgen Sjöman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elliott Berggren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Hultman in the 42nd minute of play. After 42 played minutes Mariannelund got a freekick which was hit by Villiam Hylander. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuel Hultman in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elliott Berggren saved Mariannelund from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samuel Hultman to strike the kick off in the second half. Mellansels stationsgäng's Jörgen Sjöman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Mellansels stationsgäng from getting a goal against them. 55 minutes into the game, Olof Sundberg lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Jörgen Sjöman. Olof Sundberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jörgen Sjöman firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mariannelund made a substitution. Joar Uggstedt replaced Börje Hellström. In the 67th minute, Brian Lindholm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elliott Berggren was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 85 minutes, Gustaf Kjellkvist made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Mellansels stationsgäng's Jörgen Sjöman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sören Möllgren came free with the goalkeeper in the 89th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jörgen Sjöman could save by the left post. Elliott Berggren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Hultman in the 91st minute of play. Sven-Ove Eliasson kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
