The audience was convinced that Alfons Ahlerot's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Einar Ingvall was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. The corner led Mariannelund's Sören Möllgren to fire away a dangerous shot which Einar Ingvall despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Wasyl Majczyk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olofsi IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mariannelund the free kick. Alfons Ahlerot might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Einar Ingvall. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfons Ahlerot ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfons Ahlerot got free with Einar Ingvall in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elliott Berggren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olavo Koehler, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfons Ahlerot in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Einar Ingvall prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mariannelund's Elliott Berggren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefano St. Juste in the 26th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Olofsi IF's goalkeeper Einar Ingvall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfons Ahlerot. After a defensive mix-up in Olofsi IF's zone, Alfons Ahlerot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Einar Ingvall came out of the goal and Alfons Ahlerot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfons Ahlerot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Einar Ingvall made a huge save. When Mariannelund's Alfons Ahlerot in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Olofsi IF's goalie prevented a goal. Aron Enegren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mariannelund's Olof Sundberg was substituted for Dan Hellström. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustaf Kjellkvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Olof Sundberg took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Einar Ingvall. Einar Ingvall dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Mariannelund's Joar Uggstedt was substituted for Börje Hellström. 59 minutes into the match, Olofsi IF's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaf Kjellkvist came free, but Einar Ingvall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st match minute, Olofsi IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krzysztof Pawlak to maneuver through the defense. Einar Ingvall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sören Möllgren in the 62nd minute of play. Wasyl Majczyk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aron Enegren in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Einar Ingvall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaf Kjellkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Olofsi IF's zone, Sören Möllgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Einar Ingvall came out of the goal and Sören Möllgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute Gustaf Kjellkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einar Ingvall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Aron Enegren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, Mariannelund's goalkeeper Elliott Berggren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wasyl Majczyk. Einar Ingvall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olof Sundberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92ndth minute of the game Aron Enegren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mariannelund's Elliott Berggren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Olofsi IF's Einar Ingvall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olof Sundberg in the 95th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Olofsi IF's Krzysztof Pawlak got a free kick in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Olofsi IF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mariannelund.
