The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Pedrão de Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Outback Fc's zone, Pedrão de Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santos Santos came out of the goal and Pedrão de Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A throw-in in the 7th minute of the game was made by Joakim Trillkott with Ingemar Fristedt as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Outback Fc's goalkeeper Santos Santos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 13th minute, John Skytt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Outback Fc's John Skytt got a free kick in the 14th minute. Santos Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedrão de Amorim's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute Guaberto Tudela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilius Gudavičius in the 22nd minute of play forced SoS FC's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Larsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedrão de Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
