But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tahsin Elçioğlu couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the match, Kropotkins pojkar's Tahsin Elçioğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kalle Askberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Per-Arne Vidman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Håning, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When Karl-Magnus Hansson fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sundborn IF's protests and gave Karl-Magnus Hansson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sundborn IF getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. In the 35th minute Jan Håning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Arne Vidman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Karl-Magnus Hansson in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kropotkins pojkar's Helge Ennegren. 44 minutes in the game Börje Ekström did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Bernardo Pitta. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Hansson in the 46th minute of play forced Kropotkins pojkar's goalkeeper Per-Arne Vidman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tahsin Elçioğlu in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. Jens-Åke Ahlquist was slow to take the kick. During this time Kropotkins pojkar's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Jens-Åke Ahlquist got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kalle Askberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 56 played minutes Sundborn IF got a freekick which was hit by Ted Holmgren. Per-Arne Vidman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Hansson in the 64th minute of play. A throw-in in the 69th minute of the game was made by Börje Ekström with Bernardo Pitta as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Kropotkins pojkar's Per-Arne Vidman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Holmgren in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Jan Håning had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Per-Arne Vidman. Kropotkins pojkar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan Håning was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Sundborn IF's Heigo Valt was substituted for Henning Bennet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Holmgren in the 76th minute of play forced Kropotkins pojkar's goalkeeper Per-Arne Vidman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Sundborn IF booed when Kropotkins pojkar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peder Lidström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Per-Arne Vidman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Hansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, Kropotkins pojkar's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Holmgren came free, but Per-Arne Vidman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Kropotkins pojkar players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Sundborn IF from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
