After a rather tough play, Huvudstaden's Kent Jonasson got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Bengt Apelquist made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Alf Ek sent off a good shot on target. Alf Ek took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bengt Apelquist. Bengt Apelquist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Huvudstaden's Bengt Apelquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesare Di Bartolo in the 7th minute of play. Bengt Apelquist was a little too slow when Gruyo Rakadzhiev got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 3-0. Bengt Apelquist was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Nils Aspengren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nils Aspengren really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Bengt Apelquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Björklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Bengt Apelquist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alf Ek in the 19th minute. Alf Ek got in the 20th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Bengt Apelquist handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Alf Ek kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bengt Apelquist. That made the score 5-0 in the 25 minute of play. Bengt Apelquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Aspengren in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Viktor Björklund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Bengt Apelquist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With an all-out effort, Rottneros FK's Bengt Apelquist threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nils Aspengren, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Huvudstaden's Bengt Apelquist got control of the ball when Gruyo Rakadzhiev tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute Nils Aspengren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt Apelquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bengt Apelquist didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 43rd minute, which inside left pole to 7-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Peder Sarstedt was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nils Aspengren in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bengt Apelquist saved Huvudstaden from getting behind. After 53 played minutes Huvudstaden got a freekick which was hit by Arvid Olsson. 57 minutes into the game, Gruyo Rakadzhiev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Bengt Apelquist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bengt Apelquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gruyo Rakadzhiev in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Huvudstaden's goal looked a bit too open when Gruyo Rakadzhiev came free, but Bengt Apelquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bengt Apelquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Ek in the 62nd minute of the match. After 65 minutes of play, Rottneros FK's Nils Aspengren made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bengt Apelquist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rottneros FK made a substitution. Gösta Ek replaced Max Majman. Rottneros FK made a substitution. Zdeněk Páral replaced Nils Aspengren. Bengt Apelquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Ek in the 72nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gruyo Rakadzhiev in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bengt Apelquist saved Huvudstaden from getting behind. In the 76th minute, Zdeněk Páral made a precise shot to the right of Bengt Apelquist. Huvudstaden's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. Bengt Apelquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zdeněk Páral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 minutes Huvudstaden's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gruyo Rakadzhiev who took care of the corner kick. When Rottneros FK's Zdeněk Páral in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Huvudstaden's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gruyo Rakadzhiev in the 83rd minute of play forced Huvudstaden's goalkeeper Bengt Apelquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Cesare Di Bartolo made a precise shot to the right of Bengt Apelquist. Huvudstaden's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. Obafemi Martins hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the match, Zdeněk Páral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bengt Apelquist. Huvudstaden's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zdeněk Páral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rottneros FK had played much better football throughout.
