Spectators: 8457 (Terracing: 6344, Seating: 1944, VIP seats: 169) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ted Holmgren started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Jan Håning notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Frosta Härad IF's Elias Bröms. Elias Bröms was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frosta Härad IF's Elias Bröms played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Holmgren in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute Börje Ekström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Bröms saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Frosta Härad IF's Harald Söderström got a free kick in the 12th minute. Sundborn IF were furious when Börje Ekström was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sundborn IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! Kalle Askberg had in the 18thth minute some difficulties stopping Karl-Ove Henriksson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 18th minute, Karl-Ove Henriksson made a precise shot to the right of Kalle Askberg. Sundborn IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 27 minutes into the game, Ted Holmgren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Elias Bröms was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Henning Bennet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Bröms having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Ted Holmgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sundborn IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 40 minutes into the game, Ted Holmgren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Elias Bröms was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 45 minutes into the match, Ted Holmgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elias Bröms. Frosta Härad IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ted Holmgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Sundborn IF made a substitution. Kaloyan Mitashev replaced Henning Bennet. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Göran Gustavsson to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Kaloyan Mitashev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elias Bröms was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. The crowd rose to their feet as Sundborn IF's Kaloyan Mitashev slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elias Bröms. That made the score 1-7 after 56 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ted Holmgren in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Bröms saved Frosta Härad IF from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Bertil Cedergård managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frosta Härad IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertil Cedergård was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kalle Askberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sundborn IF's Jarl Axelsson was substituted for Jan Håning. Elias Bröms showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarl Axelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ted Holmgren kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Elias Bröms. That made the score 1-8 in the 66 minute of play. A hard shot 74 in the game by Ted Holmgren from a close distance when the talented Elias Bröms managed to make a qualified save. Frosta Härad IF's players were relieved. The referee felt a red card was in order, 75 minutes into the game, when Jan-Ove Eliasson put in a rough tackle. The goalkeeper, Elias Bröms, was totally fooled by Sundborn IF's Sven-Olof Stephansson, who 77 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Sundborn IF's Heigo Valt was substituted for Sven-Olof Stephansson. The supporters of Sundborn IF booed when Frosta Härad IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harald Söderström didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 84 in the game by Ted Holmgren from a close distance when the talented Elias Bröms managed to make a qualified save. Frosta Härad IF's players were relieved. Kaloyan Mitashev did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-10 to the left of a surprised Elias Bröms 86 minutes into the match. Elias Bröms stood somewhat misplaced when Ted Holmgren came free in front of goal and shot 1-11 to the left of him in the 90 minute. In the 94th minute, Sundborn IF's Ted Holmgren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elias Bröms. Elias Bröms yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-12. Elias Bröms made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Heigo Valt sent off a good shot on target. 99 minutes into the match, Frosta Härad IF's goalkeeper Elias Bröms had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kaloyan Mitashev. Sundborn IF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
