After a defensive mix-up in Xentrias's zone, Göran Cane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig Busk came out of the goal and Göran Cane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Xentrias defense, Mats Ljusberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stig Busk. The Xentrias fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stig Busk should have stopped the shot. Göran Cane took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stig Busk. Stig Busk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The supporters of Svartvallstjärnens IF booed when Xentrias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 played minutes Xentrias got a freekick which was hit by 袁耀钢. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Göran Cane put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Stig Busk. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Xentrias's goalkeeper Stig Busk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute Göran Cane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Busk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Xentrias's goal looked a bit too open when Ture Nordmark came free, but Stig Busk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Svartvallstjärnens IF made a substitution. Tore Svartström replaced Elliott Malmberg. Svartvallstjärnens IF's attentive Karl-Åke Vestlund managed to snatch the ball when 袁耀钢 made a throw-in in the 40th minute of the game. The referee showed Göran Cane the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, Göran Cane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

In the 52nd minute of the match, Mats Ljusberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Stig Busk saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Stig Busk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Göran Cane's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. After 65 played minutes Svartvallstjärnens IF got a freekick which was hit by Kieth Isebergh. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Edvin Lindholm was substituted for Tomas Kvalfält. Xentrias's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Mats Ljusberg scored to the left of an out of position Stig Busk, making the score, 0-4. Stig Busk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ture Nordmark in the 75th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Svartvallstjärnens IF's Göran Cane sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stig Busk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Xentrias's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Björn Andberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Svartvallstjärnens IF's players had a chance to rest. Mats Ljusberg made a great header on Svartvallstjärnens IF's corner, it was just that Xentrias's Stig Busk managed to reach the ball for a save. 85 minutes into the game, Henrik Hägert threw the ball into play from the sideline. Xentrias's Jan Björklund quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Mats Ljusberg took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Stig Busk to make any attempt to save it. Xentrias's Stig Busk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Xentrias from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded Svartvallstjärnens IF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Xentrias.
