Xentrias's Stig Busk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Kvalfält in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute Simon Rami shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Linus Ahlquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Miklós Császár came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Xentrias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miklós Császár couldn't finish the play. Lukas Bjursell hit a great ball. Stig Busk made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Tomas Kvalfält sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd minute Mats Ljusberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Busk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miklós Császár was the one to do the kick off. Simon Rami might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Linus Ahlquist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
