Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ludwig Hägg in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Betinho Arantes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ludwig Hägg to make the kick off. Neville Staples hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The supporters of BK Nerysminne booed when Saint Glenn Gothenburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neville Staples didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maxim Gogea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Lennart Juhlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Lennart Juhlin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Betinho Arantes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saint Glenn Gothenburg.
