Linus Ahlquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demesio Faxardo in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute of the match Svartvallstjärnens IF got a corner. Saint Glenn Gothenburg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Björn Andberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Svartvallstjärnens IF's corner Kevin Karlberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lennart Juhlin quite easily take care of the ball. In the 16th minute, Ludwig Hägg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Linus Ahlquist was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A collision led to Svartvallstjärnens IF getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Kevin Karlberg hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute Svartvallstjärnens IF were awarded a corner. Björn Andberg went to the cornerflag to take it. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Tomas Kvalfält was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lennart Juhlin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Svartvallstjärnens IF getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Karl-Åke Vestlund hit a great ball. Lennart Juhlin made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Jan-Erik Carlsson sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes into the match, Saint Glenn Gothenburg's goalkeeper Lennart Juhlin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Erik Carlsson. A throw-in in the 37th minute of the game was made by Ture Nordmark with Kevin Karlberg as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 44th match minute, Svartvallstjärnens IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Erik Carlsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute Ludwig Hägg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Linus Ahlquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Ludwig Hägg made the kick off in the second half. Ludwig Hägg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Linus Ahlquist successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Karl-Åke Vestlund hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When Svartvallstjärnens IF's Mats Ljusberg in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Björn Andberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lennart Juhlin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Lennart Juhlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Erik Carlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevin Karlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Svartvallstjärnens IF made a substitution. Tore Svartström replaced Mats Ljusberg.
