The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute of the match NovaStella FK got a corner. Glentown FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Inocencio Lorien ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on NovaStella FK's corner Inocencio Lorien fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kent Beckeman quite easily take care of the ball. Kent Beckeman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristoffer Ek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the match, Glentown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kristoffer Ek came free, but Kent Beckeman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Hasta Alfonso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Viktor Häll was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Mei Quan Sen in the 14th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Glentown FC's Tom Lindholm. 19 minutes into the match, Glentown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcu Pantelimon came free, but Kent Beckeman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mei Quan Sen made in the 21st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Roman Lluciano however managed to control. Viktor Häll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hasta Alfonso in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Glentown FC's goalkeeper Kent Beckeman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inocencio Lorien. Kent Beckeman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inocencio Lorien in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sivert Borre in the 28th minute of play forced Glentown FC's goalkeeper Kent Beckeman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glentown FC's Kent Beckeman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Lluciano in the 29th minute of play. Hasta Alfonso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viktor Häll read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Mei Quan Sen made in the 32nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Roman Lluciano however managed to control. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roman Lluciano in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kent Beckeman saved Glentown FC from getting behind. 35 minutes into the game, Mei Quan Sen threw the ball into play from the sideline. Glentown FC's Tom Lindholm quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 39th minute, NovaStella FK's Roman Lluciano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kent Beckeman. Kent Beckeman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inocencio Lorien got free with Kent Beckeman in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute of the game Mei Quan Sen made a throw-in which Marcu Pantelimon played forward. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kristoffer Ek was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes NovaStella FK got a freekick which was hit by Sivert Borre. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho Miguel in the 54th minute of play forced NovaStella FK's goalkeeper Viktor Häll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Lorien in the 59th minute of play forced Glentown FC's goalkeeper Kent Beckeman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Lluciano in the 60th minute of play forced Glentown FC's goalkeeper Kent Beckeman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kent Beckeman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Lorien, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. If Hồ Linda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. NovaStella FK's Viktor Häll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Miguel in the 79th minute of play. NovaStella FK's Viktor Häll proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save NovaStella FK from getting a goal against them. Kent Beckeman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristoffer Ek in the 86th minute of the match. Kent Beckeman came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by NovaStella FK's Kristoffer Ek. But to his dismay, Kristoffer Ek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Andreas Johansson hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Ronaldinho Miguel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hồ Linda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 97 minutes, Miromir Gdowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glentown FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miromir Gdowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The NovaStella FK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Glentown FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
