With his leg Viktor Häll managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Morgan Möllgren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nickolai Nickerson in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viktor Häll prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eric Soned made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristoffer Ek in the 23rd minute of play. NovaStella FK were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Inocencio Lorien took the corner. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's attentive Vladimir Capixaba managed to snatch the ball when Kristoffer Ek made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. Eric Soned made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Lorien in the 33rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Nickolai Nickerson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Viktor Häll. That made the score 1-0 in the 34 minute of play. A collision led to NovaStella FK getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Mei Quan Sen hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nickolai Nickerson in the 43rd minute of play forced NovaStella FK's goalkeeper Viktor Häll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kristoffer Ek came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the NovaStella FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristoffer Ek couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Étoile Sportive Du Sahel made a substitution. Per-Arne Gunnarsson replaced Rei Bolas. The supporters of Étoile Sportive Du Sahel booed when NovaStella FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mei Quan Sen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute Inocencio Lorien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Soned saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th match minute, NovaStella FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Lorien to maneuver through the defense. Viktor Häll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nickolai Nickerson, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Mei Quan Sen kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After some careless play in the NovaStella FK defense, Nickolai Nickerson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viktor Häll. The NovaStella FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viktor Häll should have stopped the shot. Roman Lluciano kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The supporters of Étoile Sportive Du Sahel booed when NovaStella FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. 哥伦布 Lee didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 73 minutes, Vladimir Capixaba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimir Capixaba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mei Quan Sen made in the 80th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Sivert Borre immediately put the ball in play. After 84 minutes Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Inocencio Lorien who took care of the corner kick. Carlo Ancelotti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 90th minute Carlo Ancelotti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Häll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to NovaStella FK getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Roman Lluciano hit a great ball. Viktor Häll came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Carlo Ancelotti. But to his dismay, Carlo Ancelotti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 95 played minutes Étoile Sportive Du Sahel got a freekick which was hit by Morgan Möllgren. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel were victorious despite being under pressure from NovaStella FK for much of the match.
