In the 14th minute, Fabrício Rivarola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Bergman got free with Eric Soned in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eric Soned took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludomil Topolski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eric Soned made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludomil Topolski in the 22nd minute of play. Robert Bergman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute, Nickolai Nickerson made a precise shot to the right of Lei Zhen De. Mosjö Sportklubb's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Lei Zhen De stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nickolai Nickerson's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Nickolai Nickerson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lei Zhen De narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mosjö Sportklubb's goalkeeper Lei Zhen De, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's goal looked a bit too open when Ludomil Topolski came free, but Eric Soned reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Joacim Gustavsson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Fabrício Rivarola quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 39th minute Nickolai Nickerson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lei Zhen De saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Tomasz Jakubowski kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. If Nickolai Nickerson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mosjö Sportklubb's Lei Zhen De proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Mosjö Sportklubb from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Bergman in the 60th minute of play forced Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's goalkeeper Eric Soned to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 played minutes Mosjö Sportklubb got a freekick which was hit by Dalton Bennett. In the 65th minute, Ludomil Topolski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eric Soned was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After having played for 69 minutes, Dalton Bennett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mosjö Sportklubb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalton Bennett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mosjö Sportklubb's Arnold Mühren was substituted for Robert Bergman. Mosjö Sportklubb made a substitution. Sven-Oskar Lindberg replaced Richard De Greef. Joacim Gustavsson made in the 75th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dalton Bennett. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnold Mühren in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eric Soned saved Étoile Sportive Du Sahel from getting behind. Eric Soned made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnold Mühren in the 82nd minute of play. Mosjö Sportklubb's Lei Zhen De proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Mosjö Sportklubb from getting a goal against them. Carlo Ancelotti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lei Zhen De read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Mosjö Sportklubb's Lei Zhen De proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Mosjö Sportklubb from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Mosjö Sportklubb's Konstantinos Voutsas got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After 94 played minutes Mosjö Sportklubb got a freekick which was hit by Deivid Duarte. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Capixaba in the 95th minute of play forced Mosjö Sportklubb's goalkeeper Lei Zhen De to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
