An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomás Nickerson in the 2nd minute of play forced Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Christoffer Modig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Oakcroft Thrashers's Wictor Mejling threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jörn Holm, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Christoffer Modig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frans Hökkvist in the 5th minute of play. Wictor Mejling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörn Holm in the 7th minute of play. Wictor Mejling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörn Holm in the 10th minute of the match. Jörn Holm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wictor Mejling having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Syrianska FF's goalkeeper Wictor Mejling had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ingemar Jonasson. Jörn Holm scored 1-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wictor Mejling, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingemar Jonasson in the 24th minute of play forced Syrianska FF's goalkeeper Wictor Mejling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Ingemar Jonasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oakcroft Thrashers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingemar Jonasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute Tor Fredriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Modig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Oakcroft Thrashers's goal looked a bit too open when Erland Björkqvist came free, but Christoffer Modig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wictor Mejling made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Ingemar Jonasson sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Ingemar Jonasson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wictor Mejling was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Benigno Jerrold kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th match minute, Syrianska FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fritz Elg to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Thomás Nickerson made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erland Björkqvist got free with Christoffer Modig in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Syrianska FF's zone, Jörn Holm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wictor Mejling came out of the goal and Jörn Holm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wictor Mejling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingemar Jonasson in the 63rd minute of play. Wictor Mejling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörn Holm, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Wictor Mejling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingemar Jonasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christoffer Modig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomás Nickerson in the 68th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingemar Jonasson in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wictor Mejling prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sigvard Wahlnäs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Christoffer Modig made a huge save. Wictor Mejling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingemar Jonasson in the 77th minute of the match. Syrianska FF's Wictor Mejling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingemar Jonasson in the 81st minute of play. After some careless play in the Syrianska FF defense, Ingemar Jonasson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wictor Mejling. The Syrianska FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wictor Mejling should have stopped the shot. Ingemar Jonasson struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Wictor Mejling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oakcroft Thrashers. Christoffer Modig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomás Nickerson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 96 played minutes Syrianska FF got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Åke Godholm. 97 minutes into the match, Syrianska FF's goal looked a bit too open when Jörn Holm came free, but Wictor Mejling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oakcroft Thrashers's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
