Ni Jun Sha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Casper Asserlind in the 23rd minute. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dirie FC's goalkeeper Sonny Hedlund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After taking down the ball on Brothers of Mercy's corner Per-Oskar Hjortsberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sonny Hedlund quite easily take care of the ball. In the 32nd minute Håkan Lindgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny Hedlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute of the match Brothers of Mercy got a corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Sivert Frisck got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 37 minutes into the match. Casper Asserlind fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ni Jun Sha having to interfere. Håkan Lindgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Sonny Hedlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Håkan Lindgren made a kick off. The supporters of Dirie FC booed when Brothers of Mercy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kornél Ács didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Dirie FC's Valentin Hård in action when he in the 58th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Håkan Lindgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Sonny Hedlund made a huge save. After 68 played minutes Brothers of Mercy got a freekick which was hit by Christer Valler. Brothers of Mercy's Ni Jun Sha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pawel Niedziela in the 73rd minute of play. In the 77th minute, Brothers of Mercy's Håkan Lindgren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pawel Niedziela in the 82nd minute of play forced Brothers of Mercy's goalkeeper Ni Jun Sha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Håkan Lindgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sonny Hedlund was a little too slow when Håkan Lindgren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-3. Sonny Hedlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Lindgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The Brothers of Mercy players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
