A collision led to Shqiponja FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Joakim Lindström hit a great ball. Anton Wiklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingemar Jonasson in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Ingemar Jonasson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oakcroft Thrashers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Jörn Holm might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anton Wiklund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After 22 minutes of play, Oakcroft Thrashers's Ingemar Jonasson made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anton Wiklund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anton Wiklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingemar Jonasson in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Shqiponja FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jörn Holm came free, but Anton Wiklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anton Wiklund showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 37 played minutes Shqiponja FC got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Olsson. In the 42nd minute, Jörn Holm made a precise shot to the right of Anton Wiklund. Shqiponja FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Ivan Karlsson kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After the first half Oakcroft Thrashers were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kaj Classon to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörn Holm in the 51st minute of play forced Shqiponja FC's goalkeeper Anton Wiklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 52 minutes into the game, Leo Nykvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Anton Wiklund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anton Wiklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingemar Jonasson in the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Ingemar Jonasson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anton Wiklund. In the 70th minute, Jörn Holm fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Anton Wiklund, passed just outside the right post. After 70 minutes of play, Oakcroft Thrashers's Ingemar Jonasson made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anton Wiklund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anton Wiklund was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Ingemar Jonasson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ingemar Jonasson really showed his touch with that goal: 0-12. Anton Wiklund came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Oakcroft Thrashers's Jörn Holm. But to his dismay, Jörn Holm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. The crowd rose to their feet as Oakcroft Thrashers's Jörn Holm slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anton Wiklund. That made the score 0-14 after 94 minutes of play. Oakcroft Thrashers's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
