Oakcroft Thrashers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Norman Mabalane was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingemar Jonasson in the 12th minute of play forced G A I S's goalkeeper Staffan Eckegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13thth minute of the game Ingemar Jonasson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but G A I S's Staffan Eckegren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Norman Mabalane was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With an all-out effort, G A I S's Christoffer Modig threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rafael Zaldua, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Norman Mabalane could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Christoffer Modig made a huge save. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ingemar Jonasson made a kick off. Oakcroft Thrashers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ludwig Ståhlman in the 53rd minute. Ingemar Jonasson hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Staffan Eckegren made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Ingemar Jonasson sent off a good shot on target. After 70 played minutes Oakcroft Thrashers got a freekick which was hit by Ingemar Jonasson. Oakcroft Thrashers's Jörn Holm was substituted for Ingemar Jonasson. 76 minutes into the match, Oakcroft Thrashers's goal looked a bit too open when Norman Mabalane came free, but Christoffer Modig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leo Nykvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Staffan Eckegren having to interfere. In the 85th minute Rafael Zaldua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Modig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jörn Holm got free with Staffan Eckegren in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of G A I S booed when Oakcroft Thrashers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludwig Ståhlman didn't get a good kick on the ball.
