Spectators: 9170 (Terracing: 6879, Seating: 2109, VIP seats: 182) Pål Sefastsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddie Tinglöf in the 7th minute of play. Jarl Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Tevez, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Jarl Gunnarsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Alberto Tevez went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Pål Sefastsson was a little too slow when Calle Målare got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 1-1. With a little luck, National Team Cape-Verde's Pål Sefastsson got control of the ball when Eddie Tinglöf tried to sneak it across the goal line. Schmeissen FC were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after National Team Cape-Verde's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jens Apelkvist took the corner. After having played for 33 minutes, Vincent Lindqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Schmeissen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vincent Lindqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Pål Sefastsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 37 minutes of play, Schmeissen FC's Eddie Tinglöf made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pål Sefastsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anton Vibjörnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The corner ended in Jens Apelkvist almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but National Team Cape-Verde's Pål Sefastsson did a great save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Theodor Tjur during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Theodor Tjur kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Schmeissen FC's Jim Lövgren got a free kick in the 48th minute. It was beautiful to see National Team Cape-Verde's Fredric Melander in action when he in the 50th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Eddie Tinglöf made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to National Team Cape-Verde getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Tymoteusz Watarz hit a great ball. Pål Sefastsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calle Målare in the 55th minute of the match. In the 56thth minute of the game Calle Målare who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but National Team Cape-Verde's Pål Sefastsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 57th minute Calle Målare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Sefastsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Vincent Lindqvist in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by National Team Cape-Verde's Roland Björklund. Jarl Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Alberto Tevez in the 62nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vincent Lindqvist during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. National Team Cape-Verde made a substitution. Bennvar Post replaced Carlos Alberto Tevez. National Team Cape-Verde's Klas Bergqvist was substituted for Fredric Melander. The supporters of National Team Cape-Verde booed when Schmeissen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincent Lindqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 minutes, Xavier Vasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Schmeissen FC and the National Team Cape-Verde players grew even worse after the yellow card. Schmeissen FC's Urban Kellberg was substituted for Jan-Åke Gustavsson. Schmeissen FC's Armindo Anjos was substituted for Axel Sandberg. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of Schmeissen FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of National Team Cape-Verde:s goal. Tymoteusz Watarz shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Schmeissen FC's Jarl Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bennvar Post in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th match minute, National Team Cape-Verde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tymoteusz Watarz to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddie Tinglöf in the 78th minute of play forced National Team Cape-Verde's goalkeeper Pål Sefastsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Theodor Tjur was shown his second yellow card after 80 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 81 played minutes Schmeissen FC got a freekick which was hit by Theodor Tjur. Jarl Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bennvar Post, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. If Bennvar Post had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 87thth minute of the game Urban Kellberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but National Team Cape-Verde's Pål Sefastsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 88 minutes National Team Cape-Verde's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eddie Tinglöf who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Federico Lazzaro to score against Pål Sefastsson in National Team Cape-Verde's goal. 3-1 after 88 minutes. In the 96th minute, Leon Fasgar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bennvar Post took the ball and in the 99 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jarl Gunnarsson. Jarl Gunnarsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Many of National Team Cape-Verde's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. National Team Cape-Verde may have spent more time on the ball, but Schmeissen FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
