After 14 played minutes, National Team Cape-Verde's Fredric Melander shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Isaltino Durr came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in National Team Cape-Verde reached it. Pål Sefastsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grzegorz Gdaniec in the 16th minute of the match. Isaltino Durr made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Fredric Melander sent off a good shot on target. Torsten Ekeroth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Sävedalen getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Tommy Butcher hit a great ball. Tymoteusz Watarz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaltino Durr having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, National Team Cape-Verde's goal looked a bit too open when Torsten Ekeroth came free, but Pål Sefastsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torsten Ekeroth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Pål Sefastsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anton Vibjörnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Tymoteusz Watarz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaltino Durr having to interfere. In the 48th minute Fredric Melander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaltino Durr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Grzegorz Gdaniec made a kick off. Torsten Ekeroth who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Pål Sefastsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Torsten Ekeroth did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Pål Sefastsson 51 minutes into the match. Yin Yang Wei made in the 55th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sävedalen's Zlatan Mittman. Sävedalen made a substitution. Per-Olof Collin replaced Torsten Ekeroth. National Team Cape-Verde's Bennvar Post was substituted for Carlos Alberto Tevez. Sävedalen's Eliseu Fernandez was substituted for Gino de Godoi. Roland Björklund made in the 61st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Bennvar Post. Junior Junior recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pål Sefastsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Junior Junior in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, National Team Cape-Verde's goal looked a bit too open when Junior Junior came free, but Pål Sefastsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Sävedalen's Junior Junior ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pål Sefastsson. Pål Sefastsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. 92 minutes into the match, National Team Cape-Verde's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Olof Collin came free, but Pål Sefastsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Pål Sefastsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sävedalen walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
