In the 29th minute, Wu Qi made a precise shot to the right of Gustaf Kullgren. Northland Vikings's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tony Nyman was the one to do the kick off. Gustaf Kullgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wu Qi in the 51st minute of play. Gustaf Kullgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wu Qi's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timmy Henriksson in the 55th minute of play forced Northland Vikings's goalkeeper Gustaf Kullgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Van Helsing was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Northland Vikings's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Samurai the free kick. Samurai made a substitution. Ian Prutton replaced Hernán Grana. With a little luck, Northland Vikings's Gustaf Kullgren got control of the ball when Wu Qi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Wu Qi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samurai's supporters rose to their feet, but Wu Qi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustaf Kullgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute, Samurai's Esbjörn Hultstrand ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gustaf Kullgren. Gustaf Kullgren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Samurai played a much better game than Northland Vikings and deserved their victory. The Northland Vikings players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
