A collision led to Doffes Damer getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Göran Vedholm hit a great ball. Alfons Sjö showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inge Braa, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Alfons Sjö made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inge Braa in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Doffes Damer's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Archie Brodie was slow to take the kick. During this time Garsås IF's players had a chance to rest. 19 minutes into the game, Enrico Cesaroni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garsås IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Doffes Damer the free kick. Inge Braa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfons Sjö read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Jan-Åke Jonasson hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Garsås IF's zone, Inge Braa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfons Sjö came out of the goal and Inge Braa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfons Sjö came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Doffes Damer's Inge Braa. But to his dismay, Inge Braa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Inge Braa took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfons Sjö. Alfons Sjö dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Inge Braa made the kick off in the second half. Enrico Cesaroni made in the 51st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Doffes Damer's Göran Vedholm. In the 53rd minute, Inge Braa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfons Sjö was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. In the 57th minute, Inge Braa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfons Sjö was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Alfons Sjö took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inge Braa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Greg Barrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Garsås IF's goalkeeper Alfons Sjö had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inge Braa. Garsås IF's Alfons Sjö proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Garsås IF from getting a goal against them. Doffes Damer made a substitution. Knut Utfal replaced Inge Braa. Doffes Damer's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Göran Vedholm in the 79th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Doffes Damer's Knut Utfal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfons Sjö narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Knut Utfal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfons Sjö was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Doffes Damer played a much better game than Garsås IF and deserved their victory. The Garsås IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
