When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Victor Blom took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Alfons Sjö to make any attempt to save it. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Garsås IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Laércio Coutinho was slow to take the kick. During this time Sunkens Surtröjor's players had a chance to rest. Garsås IF's Alfons Sjö proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Garsås IF from getting a goal against them. Sunkens Surtröjor's Eugeniusz Tomporowski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Göran Lindholm in the 16 minute of the game. 23 minutes into the game, Sunkens Surtröjor's Victor Blom nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfons Sjö made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Garsås IF's Archie Brodie was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sokol Narev in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alfons Sjö took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Error Uchiha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

In the 51st match minute, Garsås IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bror Ståhlman to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Sunkens Surtröjor defense, Sven-Ove Stål kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sokol Narev. The Sunkens Surtröjor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sokol Narev should have stopped the shot. 56 minutes into the match, Sunkens Surtröjor's Victor Blom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfons Sjö narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Garsås IF's Sven-Ove Stål in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sunkens Surtröjor's goalie prevented a goal. In the 64th minute, Victor Blom ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. In the 75th minute Bror Ståhlman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sokol Narev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute of the match, Sven-Ove Stål got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sokol Narev was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Sunkens Surtröjor's Ong Shyan got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 81st minute, Ong Shyan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sokol Narev made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Sven-Ove Stål sent off a good shot on target.
