In the 2nd minute, Doriva Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ghost Hunters booed when Protegéerna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakob Lundin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sokratis Kotsonis made in the 7th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Petter Skarkman however managed to control. Doriva Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bolo Skjold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doriva Sousa in the 11th minute of play. Protegéerna's Michael Näver was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jósef Wandzik in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ghost Hunters's Jósef Wandzik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulrik Söderlund in the 21st minute of play. In the 42nd minute Doriva Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bolo Skjold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 played minutes Ghost Hunters got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Sabah. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Michael Näver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Protegéerna's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Näver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jósef Wandzik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Ghost Hunters's Jósef Wandzik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petter Skarkman in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's goalkeeper Bolo Skjold had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Doriva Sousa. In the 60th minute, Ghost Hunters's Nils-Åke Alströmer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bolo Skjold. Bolo Skjold yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Ghost Hunters's Jósef Wandzik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakob Lundin in the 64th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Ghost Hunters's Doriva Sousa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bolo Skjold narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Protegéerna's Bolo Skjold got control of the ball when Doriva Sousa tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Protegéerna getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Xu Yi Chong hit a great ball. Ghost Hunters's Shi Yan Lin was substituted for Henri-Patrick Grocholski. Xu Yi Chong kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Doriva Sousa could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Bolo Skjold however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petter Skarkman in the 82nd minute of play forced Ghost Hunters's goalkeeper Jósef Wandzik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ghost Hunters made a substitution. Virgo Penc replaced Ahmet Gökalp Usal. Jósef Wandzik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petter Skarkman in the 91st minute of the match. Ghost Hunters's Jósef Wandzik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petter Skarkman in the 94th minute of play.
