After some careless play in the Quetzal Flyers Hammers defense, Doriva Sousa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francesco Marines. The Quetzal Flyers Hammers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francesco Marines should have stopped the shot. Doriva Sousa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francesco Marines having to make a save. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Francesco Marines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doriva Sousa in the 13th minute of play. After 14 played minutes Quetzal Flyers Hammers got a freekick which was hit by Mark Noble. A collision led to Ghost Hunters getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Henri-Patrick Grocholski hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Cote in the 17th minute of play forced Ghost Hunters's goalkeeper Jósef Wandzik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 18th minute of the game was made by Mark Noble with Alexander Biörnberg as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Francesco Marines came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Ghost Hunters's Doriva Sousa. But to his dismay, Doriva Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 24th minute Doriva Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Marines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils-Åke Alströmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 32 minutes into the match, Quetzal Flyers Hammers's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Åke Alströmer came free, but Francesco Marines reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ghost Hunters's Jósef Wandzik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Ghost Hunters from getting a goal against them. After 35 minutes of play, Ghost Hunters's Doriva Sousa made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francesco Marines was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Doriva Sousa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francesco Marines was relentless in the 44th minute of the game.

The supporters of Ghost Hunters booed when Quetzal Flyers Hammers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Noble didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute, Doriva Sousa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Francesco Marines. The goal made the score 0-4. Francesco Marines was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Doriva Sousa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 58 minute of play. When Moncho Almonte came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Quetzal Flyers Hammers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moncho Almonte couldn't finish the play. Mark Noble kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Ghost Hunters made a substitution. Shi Yan Lin replaced Henri-Patrick Grocholski. Jósef Wandzik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sonny Perkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jósef Wandzik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moncho Almonte in the 82nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ghost Hunters's Gilbert Lindell got a free kick in the 90th minute. Ghost Hunters's Jakob Bogren was substituted for Doriva Sousa. A collision led to Ghost Hunters getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Gilbert Lindell hit a great ball. The Ghost Hunters supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ghost Hunters would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
