Legia Warszawa's Napoleon Kazimierz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Legia Warszawa from getting a goal against them. 12 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Prosowski came free, but Napoleon Kazimierz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Napoleon Kazimierz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwo Obuchowicz in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa's goalkeeper Napoleon Kazimierz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrzej Augustyn. Maksymilian Adamski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th match minute, FC Banasiur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Porajewski to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC Banasiur's zone, Dariusz Piszczor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Kajder came out of the goal and Dariusz Piszczor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 28 played minutes FC Banasiur got a freekick which was hit by Roman Galagan. If Borys Jajesniak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grzegorz Filipkowski struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Leon Kajder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Legia Warszawa. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmund Prosowski got free with Napoleon Kazimierz in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute, Stefan Bejrut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes in the game Roch Kaznocha got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Gilbert Zieba kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. FC Banasiur's Leon Kajder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maksymilian Adamski in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Wit Podolski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Borys Jajesniak charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Borys Jajesniak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Legia Warszawa's Stefan Bejrut got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Borys Jajesniak in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leon Kajder saved FC Banasiur from getting behind. After having played for 65 minutes, Stefan Bejrut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Legia Warszawa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefan Bejrut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, FC Banasiur's goal looked a bit too open when Maksymilian Adamski came free, but Leon Kajder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leon Kajder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maksymilian Adamski in the 72nd minute of the match. Robert Mazurkiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Robert Mazurkiewicz helped the player get up and apologised. After 81 played minutes FC Banasiur got a freekick which was hit by Robert Mazurkiewicz. FC Banasiur's Leon Kajder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maksymilian Adamski in the 83rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Borys Jajesniak in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leon Kajder saved FC Banasiur from getting behind. Borys Jajesniak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Legia Warszawa's Borys Jajesniak got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Legia Warszawa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty! FC Banasiur's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
