Borys Zbikowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witold Tyszka in the 3rd minute of play. After 3 played minutes fc byczyna got a freekick which was hit by Zbigniew Niziolek. Stanislaw Grabowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Borys Zbikowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witold Tyszka in the 12th minute of play forced fc byczyna's goalkeeper Borys Zbikowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Warny getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Norbert Brzeszczak hit a great ball. When Warny's Stanislaw Grabowicz in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye fc byczyna's goalie prevented a goal. Gilbert Bartocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes in the game, Julian Basinski fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jedrzej Wielgopolski having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, Korneliusz Kinic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. fc byczyna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Korneliusz Kinic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Warny's Jedrzej Wielgopolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Basinski in the 52nd minute of play. Walery Bambas charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walery Bambas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th match minute, fc byczyna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walery Bambas to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Julian Basinski managed to get in a good position for a shot. fc byczyna's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Basinski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jedrzej Wielgopolski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Jacek Jaworski fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Warny's protests and gave Jacek Jaworski a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of fc byczyna booed when Warny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacek Jaworski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Basinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stanislaw Grabowicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Borys Zbikowski having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in fc byczyna's zone, Witold Tyszka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Borys Zbikowski came out of the goal and Witold Tyszka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Warny's Wlodzimierz Owsiak shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 78th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Borys Zbikowski but with some difficulty. A collision led to fc byczyna getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Zbigniew Niziolek hit a great ball. Borys Zbikowski came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Warny's Witold Tyszka. But to his dismay, Witold Tyszka quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 87th match minute, fc byczyna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbigniew Niziolek to maneuver through the defense. Mateusz Klawke, 88 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Witold Tyszka blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Borys Zbikowski having to make a save. Zenon Niezywy charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zenon Niezywy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Warny eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
