The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sylwester Ligas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zygmunt Lichniak having to interfere. Zygmunt Lichniak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olgierd Fronczak in the 11th minute of the match. When Leonard Tuliszewski came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Wisła Kraków fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonard Tuliszewski couldn't finish the play. If Edmund Mleczewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sylwester Ligas charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sylwester Ligas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Wisła Kraków getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Edmund Mleczewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Wieslaw Flis made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Galagan in the 39th minute of play forced Wisła Kraków's goalkeeper Wieslaw Flis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmund Mleczewski struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Wieslaw Flis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Raszków SA. After 45 minutes of play, Wisła Kraków's Olgierd Fronczak made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zygmunt Lichniak was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonard Tuliszewski to strike the kick off in the second half. Zygmunt Lichniak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olgierd Fronczak in the 54th minute. Tymoteusz Joks kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Zygmunt Lichniak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonard Tuliszewski's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Edmund Mleczewski scored 1-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wieslaw Flis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Miroslaw Kostka kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Wieslaw Flis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Czeslaw Zajonc, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Tadeusz Ferfecki hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Herbert Galagan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute, Sylwester Ligas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wieslaw Flis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmund Mleczewski went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Mleczewski in the 91st minute of play forced Wisła Kraków's goalkeeper Wieslaw Flis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute Herbert Galagan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wieslaw Flis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olgierd Fronczak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Zygmunt Lichniak made a huge save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Raszków SA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Wisła Kraków had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
