Starcza's Dariusz Ruzicki got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the game, Starcza's Dariusz Ruzicki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zenon Winograd made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 22 minutes into the game, Mikolaj Debowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zmiennica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Starcza the free kick. A collision led to Zmiennica getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Mikolaj Debowski hit a great ball. Dariusz Ruzicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zenon Winograd having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Klement Miarka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zenon Winograd. Zmiennica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Klement Miarka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. When Gorri Santos fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Starcza's protests and gave Gorri Santos a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Starcza:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Zmiennica:s goal. Kazimierz Fiszer placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Mikolaj Debowski took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Cezary Niewiadomski to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 46 minutes, Wiktor Kochanowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zmiennica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wiktor Kochanowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute, Korneliusz Moczkiewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dariusz Ruzicki in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zenon Winograd prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dariusz Ruzicki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Zenon Winograd made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Starcza's Klement Miarka got a free kick in the 68th minute. The supporters of Starcza booed when Zmiennica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Bryk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zenon Winograd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanek Rakoski in the 79th minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Zmiennica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikolaj Debowski to maneuver through the defense.
