In the 14th minute of the match Tobiasz Fudalej shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Norbert Szkarpiak showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Desiderio Pagomari kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Norbert Szkarpiak. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. In the 23rd minute Bogdan Trela suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustaw Porajewski during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of PSG KUFLEW booed when Kłodnicka Rzeź was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanislaw Bialakowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bogdan Wozniak having to make a save.
