Jutrzyny Grodziec's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Konstanty Pilsudski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Zbyszko Mochadlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walery Marajda having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Jutrzyny Grodziec's goal looked a bit too open when Zdzislaw Zachemski came free, but Teobald Scigan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

PKS Dworki made a substitution. Teofil Topolski replaced Julian Hodas. Walery Marajda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaw Sitko, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 54 minutes, Antoni Gotfryd made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. PKS Dworki's Walery Marajda tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antoni Gotfryd in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walery Marajda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in PKS Dworki's zone, Tomasz Gotfryd stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walery Marajda came out of the goal and Tomasz Gotfryd tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomasz Gotfryd took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walery Marajda. Walery Marajda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. PKS Dworki's Karol Kasprzak was substituted for Juliusz Czermak. When Tomasz Gotfryd, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 66 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Walery Marajda was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Maciej Zecman hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Leszek Siembab took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Teobald Scigan. Jutrzyny Grodziec's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of PKS Dworki booed when Jutrzyny Grodziec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Budacz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teobald Scigan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Konstanty Pilsudski in the 74th minute. Walery Marajda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoni Gotfryd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PKS Dworki's Walery Marajda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomasz Gotfryd in the 94th minute of play. Walery Marajda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomasz Gotfryd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 99 minutes into the game, Jutrzyny Grodziec's Tomasz Gotfryd nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walery Marajda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. PKS Dworki's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
