In the 3rd minute, one of Katzen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Katzen. Witomir Gieraltowski walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maciej Ruzicki in the 7th minute of play forced Katzen's goalkeeper Arkadiusz Olejarz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Strawczynek SA's Maciej Ruzicki got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Katzen's Arkadiusz Olejarz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franciszek Frankowski in the 12th minute of play. Cyryl Tomporowski struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Borys Okropny didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Katzen. 27 minutes into the match, Katzen's goal looked a bit too open when Maciej Ruzicki came free, but Arkadiusz Olejarz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Katzen's Arkadiusz Olejarz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zdzislaw Mockiewicz in the 35th minute of play. Arkadiusz Olejarz came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Strawczynek SA's Zdzislaw Mockiewicz. But to his dismay, Zdzislaw Mockiewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cyryl Tomporowski during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cyryl Tomporowski kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Strawczynek SA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maciej Ruzicki was the one to do the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Katzen's goal looked a bit too open when Maciej Ruzicki came free, but Arkadiusz Olejarz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arkadiusz Olejarz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maciej Ruzicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 minutes, Rafal Wozniak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Katzen and the Strawczynek SA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th minute, one of Katzen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Katzen. In the 71st minute, Strawczynek SA got a penalty, and Witomir Gieraltowski placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Arkadiusz Olejarz made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Zdzislaw Mockiewicz sent off a good shot on target. After 75 played minutes Katzen got a freekick which was hit by Cyryl Tomporowski. Zdzislaw Mockiewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Arkadiusz Olejarz made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zdzislaw Mockiewicz got free with Arkadiusz Olejarz in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Filip Turacki hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. If Maciej Ruzicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Katzen's Arkadiusz Olejarz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maciej Ruzicki in the 88th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Iwo Prokowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Katzen manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Strawczynek SA to win.
