In the 15th minute Teofil Tyski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Jarek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cyprian Kilar to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcin Wojno got free with Edward Jarek in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofil Mirowski in the 55th minute of play forced Karczemka's goalkeeper Edward Jarek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
