Jaroslaw Maurycy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Partizan Belgrad. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arkadiusz Markowski to make the kick off. The corner led Grodków SSA's Krzysztof Wawro to fire away a dangerous shot which Emil Lewandowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkadiusz Markowski in the 55th minute of play forced Partizan Belgrad's goalkeeper Emil Lewandowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adam Pachucki was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 59th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Stanislaw Marchewka came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Partizan Belgrad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanislaw Marchewka couldn't finish the play. If Adam Pachucki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Partizan Belgrad's Franciszek Gdowik suffered a fractured collar bone after 77 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Jaroslaw Maurycy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Pachucki in the 80th minute of the match. Partizan Belgrad's Adam Pachucki got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adam Pachucki was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. Partizan Belgrad's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Arkadiusz Markowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Partizan Belgrad left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Grodków SSA.
