Jerzy Niewiadomski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Andrzej Oryniak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Schickeria München fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 23 minutes into the game, Schickeria München's Andrzej Oryniak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerzy Niewiadomski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 30 minutes into the match, Schickeria München's goalkeeper Kryspin Kicia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wladyslaw Marchlewicz. Edmund Zielinski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Górnik Zabrze's goal looked a bit too open when Andrzej Oryniak came free, but Jerzy Niewiadomski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wawrzyniec Kostrzewa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmund Zielinski struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Jerzy Niewiadomski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schickeria München. In the 40th minute, Górnik Zabrze's Patryk Zapolski seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Patryk Zapolski the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Górnik Zabrze protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Patryk Zapolski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Górnik Zabrze:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Schickeria München:s goal. The referee gave Schickeria München a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Leon Majusiak, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Górnik Zabrze's Jerzy Niewiadomski. 0-4. The wind increased when Wladyslaw Marchlewicz made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Schickeria München got a freekick which was hit by Tolek Nowacki. Jerzy Niewiadomski didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 57th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. Marian Dziurowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Wawrzyniec Kostrzewa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jerzy Niewiadomski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Edmund Zielinski came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Schickeria München fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmund Zielinski couldn't finish the play. Jerzy Niewiadomski came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Schickeria München's Andrzej Oryniak. But to his dismay, Andrzej Oryniak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Wawrzyniec Kostrzewa's late challenge caught a Górnik Zabrze's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wawrzyniec Kostrzewa helped the player get up and apologised. After 79 played minutes Schickeria München got a freekick which was hit by Wawrzyniec Kostrzewa. Jerzy Niewiadomski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wawrzyniec Kostrzewa in the 81st minute of the match. Wawrzyniec Kostrzewa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 85 minutes of play, Schickeria München's Andrzej Oryniak made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jerzy Niewiadomski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Andrzej Oryniak might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jerzy Niewiadomski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrzej Oryniak ran back to his position shaking his head. Andrzej Oryniak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Jerzy Niewiadomski made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Wawrzyniec Kostrzewa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schickeria München's supporters rose to their feet, but Wawrzyniec Kostrzewa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerzy Niewiadomski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Górnik Zabrze fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Schickeria München were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
