Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Warriors Sosnowiec f.c.'s goalkeeper Hieronim Perkowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marek Zdrojewski. Igor Gniewek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boruc Domamir in the 15th minute of play forced Warriors Sosnowiec f.c.'s goalkeeper Hieronim Perkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Gwidon Kicia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfred Poremba was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 28th minute, Igor Gniewek made a precise shot to the right of Hieronim Perkowski. Warriors Sosnowiec f.c.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When Stefan Wieczorek fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Warriors Sosnowiec f.c.'s protests and gave Stefan Wieczorek a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Warriors Sosnowiec f.c.'s Stefan Wieczorek got a free kick in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafal Cwynar to strike the kick off in the second half. Gwidon Kicia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Igor Gniewek might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hieronim Perkowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Igor Gniewek ran back to his position shaking his head. Alfred Poremba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gwidon Kicia in the 75th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boruc Domamir in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hieronim Perkowski saved Warriors Sosnowiec f.c. from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boruc Domamir in the 84th minute of play forced Warriors Sosnowiec f.c.'s goalkeeper Hieronim Perkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Rafal Cwynar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alfred Poremba, 2-3. In the 95th minute, Arkadiusz Trac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Warriors Sosnowiec f.c. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Warriors Sosnowiec f.c. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
