Ryszard Dembkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Bialakowski in the 8th minute of play. Dariusz Makarewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Przemyslaw Latkiewicz having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Kajetan Juchno put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Przemyslaw Latkiewicz. In the 26th minute, Kajetan Juchno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lion fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Edgar Bialakowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ryszard Dembkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 played minutes Lion got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Bartochowski. Ryszard Dembkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Napoleon Borowski in the 42nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lion's Sebastian Czeszyk got a free kick in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgar Bialakowski made a kick off. Napoleon Borowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryszard Dembkowski having to interfere. During the 61st minute of the match Stefan Bartochowski completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Stefan Bartochowski a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Lion:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tappelkeim SA:s goal. Bartlomiej Rasiak shot the penalty kick right outside the post. If Jerzy Czerwinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lion's Jurand Kieca was substituted for Dariusz Makarewicz. Edgar Bialakowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryszard Dembkowski having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Jurand Kieca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Przemyslaw Latkiewicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Lion's Ryszard Dembkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dobromir Zywiec in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Jurand Kieca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th match minute, Tappelkeim SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Bialakowski to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Lion's zone, Napoleon Borowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ryszard Dembkowski came out of the goal and Napoleon Borowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ryszard Dembkowski made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Napoleon Borowski sent off a good shot on target. Lion's Ryszard Dembkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Bialakowski in the 97th minute of play. Lion's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
