Kwiatuszki's Remigiusz Motowski got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Kwiatuszki booed when GKS Katowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jedrzej Madajczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Korneliusz Walec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franciszek Pilsudski charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Korneliusz Walec showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Korneliusz Walec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remigiusz Motowski in the 67th minute. If Patryk Bazan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the game, Remigiusz Motowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Korneliusz Walec was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 76thth minute of the game Patryk Bazan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kwiatuszki's Marcin Jeziorkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 84th minute of the match Kwiatuszki got a corner. GKS Katowice's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pawel Lesiecki ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Kwiatuszki's Juliusz Kornaszewski getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 93rdth minute of the game Patryk Bazan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kwiatuszki's Marcin Jeziorkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Juliusz Kornaszewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Korneliusz Walec having to interfere. The Kwiatuszki supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kwiatuszki would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
