Klement Marczyniec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Hugon Pawlik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Edward Zacharzewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugon Pawlik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugon Pawlik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After some careless play in the Inter defense, Edward Zacharzewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugon Pawlik. The Inter fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugon Pawlik should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward Zacharzewski was the one to do the kick off.
