An unexpectedly hard shot by Boruc Jurgiel in the 9th minute of play forced Polonia Bytom's goalkeeper Hugon Maciejewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Witomir Merski made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Jedrzej Borkowski sent off a good shot on target. Witomir Merski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Napoleon Szel, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Rafal Pilipiec kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Boruc Jurgiel made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Zagrodny in the 51st minute of play forced Polonia's goalkeeper Witomir Merski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugon Maciejewski was a little too slow when Pankracy Jaraczewski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 2-2. After 56 played minutes Polonia got a freekick which was hit by Czeslaw Rakowicz. After 59 played minutes Polonia got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Rakiewicz. In the 60th minute of the match Fabian Zagrodny shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Witomir Merski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Polonia's Witomir Merski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Napoleon Szel in the 62nd minute of play. Witomir Merski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jedrzej Borkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Fryderyk Sebzda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Hugon Maciejewski made a huge save. Wasyl Duszenski hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Boruc Jurgiel in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hugon Maciejewski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Polonia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
