Lech Wasikowski's late challenge caught a Wisła Kraków's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lech Wasikowski helped the player get up and apologised. Wisła Kraków made a substitution. Tytus Kolacki replaced Waclaw Brataniec. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 97th minute Konrad Gonsiewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waclaw Major saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Wisła Kraków fully deserved thier win.
