GKS Szombierki Bytom's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Medien the free kick. Lech Ochylski kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. When Bartlomiej Andrychowski came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Medien fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartlomiej Andrychowski couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Medien getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Marian Zdrojowy hit a great ball. Dobromir Brudzisz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dobromir Brudzisz was the one to do the kick off. Klement Miodek made in the 52nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Bartlomiej Andrychowski immediately put the ball in play. After a defensive mix-up in Medien's zone, Dobromir Brudzisz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waclaw Birkenhagen came out of the goal and Dobromir Brudzisz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of GKS Szombierki Bytom booed when Medien was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartlomiej Andrychowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, GKS Szombierki Bytom's Dobromir Brudzisz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Edgar Furgat kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Izydor Bejger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dobromir Brudzisz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Waclaw Birkenhagen made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Medien's Edgar Furgat got a free kick in the 81st minute. After 90 minutes, Marian Zdrojowy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Medien and the GKS Szombierki Bytom players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Marian Zdrojowy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Kacper Motowski in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by GKS Szombierki Bytom's Zbigniew Karanowski. When the final whistle sounded GKS Szombierki Bytom left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Medien.
