Cesar Gaitan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Leszek Birkenhagen made a huge save. In the 6th minute, Rodrigo Gaúcho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leszek Birkenhagen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Leszek Birkenhagen made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Cesar Gaitan sent off a good shot on target. 11 minutes into the match, Arka Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Roch Przebendowski came free, but Adam Golembiewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 minutes Arka Gdynia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcin Furgat who took care of the corner kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zachariasz Kolacki during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th minute, Zachariasz Kolacki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Cesar Gaitan took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Leszek Birkenhagen to make any attempt to save it. katowiceMN's Leszek Birkenhagen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Gaitan in the 22nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, David Dijmărescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arka Gdynia's supporters rose to their feet, but David Dijmărescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leszek Birkenhagen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leszek Birkenhagen made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Rodrigo Gaúcho sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 34 minutes, Damian Domaradzki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arka Gdynia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Domaradzki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodrigo Gaúcho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Leszek Birkenhagen made a huge save. Leszek Birkenhagen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Dijmărescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leszek Birkenhagen made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Rodrigo Gaúcho sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the katowiceMN defense, Cesar Gaitan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leszek Birkenhagen. The katowiceMN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leszek Birkenhagen should have stopped the shot. Cesar Gaitan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hernan Kelemen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leszek Birkenhagen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Gaitan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the game, Czeslaw Wojton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arka Gdynia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave katowiceMN the free kick. After 60 played minutes Arka Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Czeslaw Wojton. Hernan Kelemen came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Adam Golembiewski could save by the left post. katowiceMN's Leszek Birkenhagen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Gaitan in the 64th minute of play. Marcin Furgat kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Rodrigo Gaúcho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 72 minutes, Hernan Kelemen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. katowiceMN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernan Kelemen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leszek Birkenhagen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Gaitan in the 81st minute of play. Cesar Gaitan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damian Domaradzki in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leszek Birkenhagen saved katowiceMN from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Gaitan in the 88th minute of play forced katowiceMN's goalkeeper Leszek Birkenhagen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Edwards Quinane notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of katowiceMN's Leszek Birkenhagen. Leszek Birkenhagen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Damian Domaradzki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arka Gdynia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
