The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mikolaj Boruta came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Bytom Pirates's Witalis Trzenzalski. But to his dismay, Witalis Trzenzalski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The supporters of FC GAMONIE booed when Bytom Pirates was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janusz Pankiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mikolaj Boruta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Witalis Trzenzalski went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 20th minute Slawomir Dres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wojciech Drapinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Bytom Pirates getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Karol Kaminski hit a great ball. The supporters of FC GAMONIE booed when Bytom Pirates was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radowit Wrzosek didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Gilbert Lizewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC GAMONIE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilbert Lizewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bytom Pirates's Wojciech Drapinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilbert Lizewski in the 31st minute of play. Witalis Trzenzalski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Mikolaj Boruta when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 36 minutes into the game, Bytom Pirates's Witalis Trzenzalski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mikolaj Boruta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Witalis Trzenzalski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikolaj Boruta having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilbert Lizewski was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Bytom Pirates booed when FC GAMONIE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kryspin Bondel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 53 played minutes FC GAMONIE got a freekick which was hit by Cezary Rykaczewski. Marcin Lichucki struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Mikolaj Boruta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bytom Pirates. If Witalis Trzenzalski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikolaj Boruta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radowit Wrzosek in the 57th minute of play. Witalis Trzenzalski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikolaj Boruta having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC GAMONIE's zone, Janusz Pankiewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikolaj Boruta came out of the goal and Janusz Pankiewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Witalis Trzenzalski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Radowit Wrzosek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mikolaj Boruta having to make a save. After some careless play in the FC GAMONIE defense, Witalis Trzenzalski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mikolaj Boruta. The FC GAMONIE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mikolaj Boruta should have stopped the shot. After 77 minutes, Witalis Trzenzalski made it 7-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC GAMONIE's Mikolaj Boruta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 81 minutes, Witalis Trzenzalski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bytom Pirates's supporters crossed their fingers, but Witalis Trzenzalski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Radowit Wrzosek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Mikolaj Boruta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
