Antoni Rzeszutko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marek Arnista having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, Wladyslaw Czysty was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Janovia Janowo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arka Gdynia the free kick. In the 16th match minute, Janovia Janowo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wladyslaw Czysty to maneuver through the defense. Arka Gdynia's Marek Arnista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Arka Gdynia from getting a goal against them. Slawomir Jankowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krzysztof Rydz in the 20th minute of the match. After 26 played minutes Janovia Janowo got a freekick which was hit by Damian Panasewicz. In the 27th minute, Roman Zagrobelny got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roman Zagrobelny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marek Arnista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antoni Rzeszutko in the 33rd minute. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Krzysztof Rydz to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Arka Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Antoni Rzeszutko came free, but Marek Arnista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Slawomir Dynda came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Arka Gdynia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Slawomir Dynda couldn't finish the play. Marek Arnista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wladyslaw Czysty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Krzysztof Rydz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th match minute, Arka Gdynia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Zagrobelny to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Janovia Janowo booed when Arka Gdynia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Zagrobelny didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arka Gdynia's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Janovia Janowo had won, even though Arka Gdynia had held more of the ball.
