If Wit Tuliszewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Klement Gdowski came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Gródków fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Klement Gdowski couldn't finish the play. In the 17th minute Napoleon Cipinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernard Redisz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernard Redisz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wit Tuliszewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. A collision led to Ocleszyn getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Filip Rawa hit a great ball. Napoleon Cipinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Bernard Redisz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 31 minutes, Napoleon Cipinski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gródków's supporters crossed their fingers, but Napoleon Cipinski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucjan Dziedelonis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ocleszyn getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Stasio Osikowicz hit a great ball. Wit Fujarczuk, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Wit Tuliszewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 47 minutes into the match, Ocleszyn's goal looked a bit too open when Wit Tuliszewski came free, but Bernard Redisz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Wit Tuliszewski got free with Bernard Redisz in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Napoleon Cipinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Napoleon Cipinski fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bernard Redisz, passed just outside the right post. Bernard Redisz made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Wit Tuliszewski sent off a good shot on target. Aureliusz Gejda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Witalis Damaski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugeniusz Dresik charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugeniusz Dresik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lucjan Dziedelonis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gródków's Witalis Damaski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliusz Gejda in the 88th minute of play. With a little luck, Ocleszyn's Bernard Redisz got control of the ball when Wit Tuliszewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 93 minutes of play, Ocleszyn's Lucjan Dziedelonis made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Witalis Damaski was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew the final whistle, Ocleszyn could leave the field as winners, despite Gródków having more of the ball for most of the match.
