The audience thought a goal was coming when Kazimierz Koprowski got free with Ulryk Sobania in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Tolunbay in the 17th minute of play forced Charzewice's goalkeeper Ulryk Sobania to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulryk Sobania showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miroslaw Siwy in the 19th minute of the match. Charzewice's Ulryk Sobania played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyryl Cholewa in the 20th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Liverpool F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Wlodzimierz Siedlecki came free, but Olaf Szel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulryk Sobania made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miroslaw Siwy in the 31st minute. If Mehmet Tolunbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Charzewice's zone, Kazimierz Koprowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulryk Sobania came out of the goal and Kazimierz Koprowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wieslaw Furgat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olaf Szel having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kazimierz Koprowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Liverpool F.C's Mehmet Tolunbay in 52 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ulryk Sobania guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Ulryk Sobania showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Tolunbay, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After 62 minutes, Aureliusz Fiszer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Charzewice and the Liverpool F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the Charzewice defense, Miroslaw Siwy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulryk Sobania. The Charzewice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulryk Sobania should have stopped the shot. 79 minutes into the match, Liverpool F.C's Miroslaw Siwy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulryk Sobania narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Wlodzimierz Siedlecki came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Charzewice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wlodzimierz Siedlecki couldn't finish the play. Mehmet Tolunbay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ulryk Sobania tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Liverpool F.C's zone, Wieslaw Furgat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olaf Szel came out of the goal and Wieslaw Furgat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hieronim Dulemba's late challenge caught a Charzewice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hieronim Dulemba helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th match minute, Liverpool F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hieronim Dulemba to maneuver through the defense. Wlodzimierz Siedlecki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Olaf Szel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liverpool F.C's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
