Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ryszard Jaworski took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Ryszard Jaworski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Diego Piermattei. Ryszard Jaworski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Beniamin Rakowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 11 minutes of play, LKS Sokół Zabrzeg's Tanek Sakowicz made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tadeusz Zdanowicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tadeusz Zdanowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanek Sakowicz in the 14th minute of play. Tadeusz Zdanowicz came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by LKS Sokół Zabrzeg's Julian Walczyk. But to his dismay, Julian Walczyk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 25 minutes into the match, Pogoń za chlebem's goal looked a bit too open when Tanek Sakowicz came free, but Tadeusz Zdanowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LKS Sokół Zabrzeg's Diego Piermattei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Jaworski in the 26th minute of play. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Ryszard Jaworski sped through LKS Sokół Zabrzeg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Diego Piermattei. Julian Walczyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the game, LKS Sokół Zabrzeg's Tanek Sakowicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tadeusz Zdanowicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. In the 45th minute, Julian Walczyk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tadeusz Zdanowicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. After the first half LKS Sokół Zabrzeg were leading 2-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tanek Sakowicz to strike the kick off in the second half. Zachariasz Dudek hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. When Feliks Chazon came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the LKS Sokół Zabrzeg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliks Chazon couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, LKS Sokół Zabrzeg's Tadeusz Zdanowicz threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tanek Sakowicz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Pogoń za chlebem's Tadeusz Zdanowicz got control of the ball when Traian Lăzăroiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Walczyk in the 67th minute of play forced Pogoń za chlebem's goalkeeper Tadeusz Zdanowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanek Sakowicz in the 71st minute of play forced Pogoń za chlebem's goalkeeper Tadeusz Zdanowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edward Czerny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeusz Zdanowicz having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanek Sakowicz in the 76th minute of play forced Pogoń za chlebem's goalkeeper Tadeusz Zdanowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeusz Zdanowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Walczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. If Feliks Chazon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sylwester Zaremba's late challenge caught a LKS Sokół Zabrzeg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sylwester Zaremba helped the player get up and apologised. Tanek Sakowicz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tadeusz Zdanowicz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tanek Sakowicz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tadeusz Zdanowicz came out and tried to block the shot, but Tanek Sakowicz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 95th minute. LKS Sokół Zabrzeg played a much better game than Pogoń za chlebem and deserved their victory. The Pogoń za chlebem players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
