In the 16th minute, Herbert Czajkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Radowit Niewiadomski sped through Olimpia Katowice's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Franciszek Czysty. Bartosz Majczyk might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franciszek Czysty. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bartosz Majczyk ran back to his position shaking his head. Franciszek Czysty showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radowit Niewiadomski, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Damian Sakowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zygmunt Pysz in the 34th minute of the match. Zbyszko Ochabski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Damian Sakowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bartosz Majczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 minutes, Boleslaw Zatorski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olimpia Katowice and the GKS Jastrzębie players grew even worse after the yellow card. Boleslaw Zatorski kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Hamza Güneş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Franciszek Czysty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half GKS Jastrzębie were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Radowit Niewiadomski made a kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Radowit Niewiadomski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olimpia Katowice's Franciszek Czysty was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 57th minute, Radowit Niewiadomski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GKS Jastrzębie fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. When Radowit Niewiadomski came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the GKS Jastrzębie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radowit Niewiadomski couldn't finish the play. After 63rd play minutes Radowit Niewiadomski shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Franciszek Czysty and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 66th minute, GKS Jastrzębie's Radowit Niewiadomski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. 73 minutes into the match, Olimpia Katowice's goalkeeper Franciszek Czysty had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Radowit Niewiadomski. Olimpia Katowice's Franciszek Czysty played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamza Güneş in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Radowit Niewiadomski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ignacy Wasikowski kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Hamza Güneş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franciszek Czysty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Hamza Güneş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute, Hamza Güneş made a precise shot to the right of Franciszek Czysty. Olimpia Katowice's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. The supporters of Olimpia Katowice booed when GKS Jastrzębie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucjan Zbikowski didn't get a good kick on the ball.
