Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Miromir Laba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomir Kaminski in the 9th minute of play. Miromir Laba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomir Kaminski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miromir Laba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomir Kaminski, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. If 周远亦 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teofil Obuchowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tymoteusz Zembrzuski in the 21st minute of the match. 周远亦 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Teofil Obuchowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arkadiusz Wlodyga hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Teofil Obuchowicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tymoteusz Zembrzuski's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tymoteusz Zembrzuski in the 31st minute of play forced KS Nankatsu's goalkeeper Teofil Obuchowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Miromir Laba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Zawisza Bydgoszcz from getting a goal against them. Miromir Laba was a little too slow when Wlodzimierz Marud got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 47th minute Piotr Skarpiak suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Zbyszko Gollob's late challenge caught a KS Nankatsu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zbyszko Gollob helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of KS Nankatsu booed when Zawisza Bydgoszcz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbyszko Gollob didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tymoteusz Zembrzuski to make the kick off. Teofil Obuchowicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mikolaj Polakowski's late challenge caught a KS Nankatsu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 99th minute, Cezary Wos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zawisza Bydgoszcz played a much better game than KS Nankatsu and deserved their victory. The KS Nankatsu players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
